Rhaphidophora Korthalsii, often called the Shingle Plant, is an exceptional tropical climbing aroid known for its fascinating growth pattern. Native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia, this unique plant develops leaves that tightly adhere to surfaces, creating an elegant, overlapping shingle-like appearance in its juvenile stage. As it matures, the foliage transforms dramatically, growing larger and developing intricate fenestrations, making it a captivating addition to any indoor plant collection.

Its leaves lie flat and overlap against a vertical surface, like shingles on a roof, especially in its juvenile stage. As the plant matures, the leaves undergo a dramatic transformation, growing much larger and developing deep lobes or divisions (fenestrations) that enhance its visual appeal.
