All perennial plugs are healthy 1 year old plants, planted in trays. There is soil around the roots, but we recommend bringing a container for ease of transportation. As with bare root plants, we recommend transplanting plugs immediately.

*Please note, in order to get a variety of colors from this mix,we recommend you order 2 or more plugs.

Common Name: Dwarf Hybrid Bee Delphinium

If you love the look of traditionally tall Delphiniums but theyre just too tall for your use, youre in luck! From the breeder of the New Zealand Hybrids comes a series oftruly compactDelphiniums that have all the beautiful characteristics of their taller cousins except their height.

Topping out under 2′ tall, these new compact Delphiniums never need staking and wont fall over in their pots. They can be grown near the front to middle of the border and work better in windy sites than taller varieties.
