The Opuntia microdasys, widely recognized as the Bunny Ears Cactus or Mickey Mouse Cactus, is a highly popular and remarkably easy-to-care-for desert plant. This charming cactus is perfect for adding a touch of unique greenery to any indoor space or suitable outdoor garden, known for its distinctive paddle-shaped segments resembling bunny ears.

Important Warning: This cactus features clusters of tiny, hair-like barbed spines called glochids (often appearing as small polka dots). These should NOT be touched with bare skin as they detach easily and can cause severe irritation and are very difficult to remove. Always use thick gloves, folded newspaper, or tongs when handling or repotting this plant to ensure safety for yourself and any curious pets.
